50% of the total payment is required at the time of booking with the remaining balance to be paid 15 Days prior to the Check-In date.

We accept checks and all major credit cards. Please note, returned checks will be charged $25.00

Refundable Security Deposit: $250.00

Please alert us of any damages you may find upon your arrival, or that occur during your stay. We will return your Security Deposit within 14 days of your departure providing there are no missing items or damage to property. You will be contacted regarding damages or missing items found after your stay.


Cleaning Fee: $75.00


Cancellations made more than two (2) weeks before the Check-In date will receive a 100% refund. Cancellations made less than two (2) weeks before the Check-In date will only receive a 50% refund.

Check-In & Check-Out


Check-In is 4:00 PM.

An email or text containing the combination to the door lock and how to operate it will be sent to you.


Check-out is 10:00AM


  1. Remove any food left in the refrigerator and cupboards.
  2. Remove sheets and pillowcases and leave them on the floor. Put blankets and bedspreads folded on the bed upon leaving.
  3. Please place all used towels in the washing machine, but Do Not run.
  4. Return all furniture, both inside and outside, to its original placement.
  5. TURN HEAT to 60 degrees. (winter) on the main room thermostat
  6. TURN A/C TO  72 degrees (summer) on the main room thermostat
  7. Turn off ceiling fan
  8. Load dishwasher and run please upon exiting the condo.
  9. Close and lock all doors and windows
  10. Turn off all interior and exterior lights.
  11. Empty all trash cans and dispose of trash in the outside trash can.
  12. Please remember you are responsible for any damaged or missing items during your stay. Your damage deposit will be adjusted for loss or damage to the cottage.
  13. Lock door as you leave.



Free wireless internet is provided, along with a DVD player and a collection of DVDs.

Comcast Cable is provided in The Lakehouse, YouTube TV is provided in The Lighthouse, The Beachhouse, and The Boathouse. 


A fire pit is located on site. Please do not move the fire pit or create fires outside the pit. DO NOT leave fire unattended. Please keep flames to a manageable height and extinguish completely when done. Roasting sticks are provided in the cottage. Firewood is provided next to the supply house and is available on a first come first served basis.  Firewood can also be purchased at the nearby Mobil Station.


While ground fireworks are permitted, please be considerate to the neighbors by observing quite hours. Please DO NOT light fireworks off near any building. Airborne fireworks are prohibited.


A gas grill is provided on site with a tank. Please DO NOT remove grill from back patio. Propane tanks can be refilled at the Mobil Station around the corner.  Send a copy of the receipt for reimbursement.  Key to locking cable is near the ruse panel in all buildings by the Lighthouse.  The Lighthouse key can be found hanging in the front closet.


The temperature may be adjusted with the thermostat in the main room.


An initial supply of detergent pods are provided for you convenience. Additional detergent may be purchased at the Mobil Station or the Lakeport Market. Both addresses are listed in the welcome book. Please DO NOT overload the washer or dryer. Note:  We are on a septic system, so please be mindful of loads.


Should a light bulb go out and you want to replace it there are additional bulbs in the cabinet located in the utility closet in the kitchen.


All bath and kitchen linens as well as bedding are provided during your stay. Please DO NOT take our shower towels out to the lake. They are to remain in the cottage, please. Beach towels are provided.


We are not responsible for any items left in the cottage after your stay. Any found items will be held at our office in Port Huron for a limited amount of time, please contact our property manager at (810) 334-6711 if you have an item that was left behind.  Reasonably sized items will be returned via USPS for a flat fee of $25.00.


If you smoke outside, please clean up after yourself. Any cigarette butts found on property will be taken out of your deposit.


Quiet hours are from 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM as a consideration to our neighbors


Parking is provided for multiple vehicles out front in gravel driveway. Please DO NOT park on the lawn, the volleyball court, or on Orchard Dr.   Additional parking is across the street.


No pets allowed unless pre-approved by the property manager and paperwork has been signed and agreed to.


Please be sure to bring your cell phone as there is no phone inside the cottage.


An initial supply of paper towels, trash bags, bathroom tissue, laundry detergent, dish and bath soaps are provided. You may need to purchase additional supplies during your stay.

Our kitchen is fully stocked and is equipped with a coffee maker, toaster, and microwave.


Open flames of any kind are prohibited inside the cottage. This includes, but is not limited to: scented candles, birthday candles, incense, the use of lighters, etc.
